FA Cup 2015 Weekend Updates

At first glance, it seems as if the Premier League side, Stoke City, was leading by a large margin but in fact, it's the other way round where Blackburn are actually taking a three goal lead with a 4-1 result.

It is also of no surprise that the cameras kept turning to the direction of a grim-looking Mark Hughs who looked helpless from the sidelines as he sent on his last substitute Charlie Adam to attempt to turn things around.

It will definitely difficult for Stoke to turn things around and perhaps be kicked out of the FA Cup just as top side Chelsea was eliminated from the tournament weeks before.

As the final whistle signaled the end of the game, Josh King of Blackburn was seen as the hero of the night for netting a hat-trick against the Premier League side while Stoke City fans were inevitably unhappy with the way their team played.

There are reports of Stoke City fans clashing with officials at the stadium, to which Stoke City Fc have launched an internal investigation. There's no blaming them though given how their team has been lacklustre all night, and showed a lack of ambition that was instead seen in their more determined opponents.

Liverpool kept alive captain Steven Gerrard's hopes of visiting Wembley Stadium one last time before he leaves for Los Angeles Galaxy at the end of the season. They came back from behind to beat Crystal Palace 2 - 1.
